What Is ICDL and Why It Still Matters

Many people assume ICDL is just a basic entry-level certificate, but it actually covers the most foundational — and genuinely useful — digital skills needed in any modern workplace, from file management to basic security and networking concepts.

Something I always emphasize in class: ICDL is vendor-independent by design, meaning the skills you learn aren't tied to one specific piece of software and transfer across operating systems and applications.
